Lathrop Trotter is excited to welcome John V. Brown to our team as a System Sales Engineer serving Northern Ohio and Northeastern Indiana. In this role, John will work closely with customers to evaluate existing systems, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver practical, results-oriented solutions that support safe, efficient plant operations.
John brings nearly two decades of experience in the heavy metals industry, with a strong focus on maintenance and operational excellence. Throughout his career, he has specialized in helping facilities address outdated or obsolete equipment challenges by developing cost-effective solutions that support reliability and long-term performance.
Known for his collaborative approach, John takes the time to understand each customer’s unique challenges and works alongside both the customer and supplier partners to deliver the best possible outcome. His background aligns closely with Lathrop Trotter’s commitment to helping industrial facilities improve efficiency, extend equipment life, and maintain continuous improvement across their operations.
John lives in Cleveland, Ohio with his wife and three children at home. He also has four more children throughout Ohio, including one currently serving in the United States Marine Corps. In his spare time, John enjoys watching and playing sports with his family, as well as fishing and golfing when time allows.
